This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property for lease is located in Jackson County, WV. Jackson county ranks in the top five every year for deer killed in the state of WV, and this particular property had no shortage of deer. About a half dozen or so deer within the first 15 minutes of agent walking the property. The property lays right on the Ohio river and is only a few miles from restaurants, lodging, etc...This is raw mountain land, it has never been logged and has no access, except by foot. There are no logging roads or atv trails on this piece of property. Parking is limited and there is a "wide spot" big enough to handle one or two vehicles, and this is where I parked. The property consists of mostly mature hardwood timber, but there is a lot of thick underbrush, briars, grass, etc......I saw well used deer trails everywhere I went. There are some nice huntable "flats" and funnels all over the property. I also noticed several mountain fed springs on the property in various places. You should have no trouble seeing deer and turkey on this lease.
